Microbonds

Microbonds are loose strands of extension hair that are attached to tiny sections of the client’s natural hair, strand by strand, to add volume, length and additional tones/colours to the client’s natural hair.  Single strand bonds allow the free movement of both the client’s hair and the extension hair, enabling hair to be tied-up easily.
The bonds are generally made from an acrylic-based “glue” substance, but often referred to as a “Keratin Bond” – Keratin is a natural forming fibrous protein forming part of the hair’s natural structure. Most “mass-produced” bonds do not contain any or very little “Keratin”. The bonds are heated until they soften to enable the client’s own hair to be integrated into the same bond, and then rolled to seal the hair and bond together, before hardening.
Microbonds do require maintenance every 4-6 weeks and can last up to 12 weeks per application with regular maintenance and correct aftercare.

Micro/Nano Ring Strands

Micro-ring and Nano-ring strands are individual strands of extension hair that are applied to tiny sections of the client’s natural hair, strand by strand, to add volume, length and additional tones/colours. No acrylic bonds or heat are used in the attachment process, instead small metal rings with a silicone interior are used to clamp the extension hair strands to your natural hair strands. Single strand micro/nano rings allow the free movement of the client’s own hair and extension hair, enabling the hair to be tied up easily.
Micro/Nano rings do require maintenance every 4-6 weeks and can last up to 12 weeks per application with regular maintenance and correct aftercare.
